@mitchellh Isn't the EUPL or MPL license something for #Ghostty? Then people can use it in any project, but will the gostty code be free.
@avlap2 We're going with MIT. We were originally doing GPL but the gist is that due to our goals with libghostty it would be too restrictive for downstream.
@mitchellh I see, but with MIT a company like Microsoft / Google / Apple / Musk can make a closed source version out of it, right?

When have that ever worked? You should only rely on the license, that is the only thing that works. And I really suggest you look in to EUPL, that will let any big corp use your lib, but have to publish any modifications. Much less intrusive than the GPL alternatives, but still copyleft.
