@ladyxochi Is this the same as the German "My heart dropped into my pants"?
It can be described as "suddenly getting very afraid" / "getting nervous"
If it's the same I wonder why my lowest point for something to move to is the pants while yours is the shoes...
@the_qa_guy lol. Mine is slightly different. Mine has to do with losing faith, becoming pessimistic. Desperation dawning. Fatalistic. It's worse than becoming nervous, so maybe that's why it's lower.
