trying the native-comp branch of #emacs
In the past I used https://www.gnu.org/software/anubis for all my outgoing mail
It made using a gazillion different email-clients a lot easier having mostly the same config. I don't recall exactly why I stopped using it, but I miss it sometimes.
Switching my site to WriteFreely
I have been using WordPress ever since I decided to have a personal website/blog. It has served me well but I've come to a point where I got tired of messing with plugin conflicts, and spammers. I also like Markdown a lot and the available plugins for WordPress were either broken or had conflicts with other plugins. So I decided to try something simpler. Does there exist a #telegram date picker bot?
I expected a while set to choose from , but can't seem to find one.
Seems a fairly common usecase
first selection criterium on chosing a bank today: does their app work on rooted phone without google services?
I'm on my third bank app now, the last one functioned till a week ago with help of #magisk, but stopped working today.
customer service didn't care much (they did suggest removing root and installing google services though)
The #trekarta app is truly a joy to use.
Quality of the app is top notch. Especially the interface design is worth a look.
- every ui element gets introduced on first use
- good use of tap and tap-and-hold (roughly: toggle vs configure)
- a very interesting widget design to fine-tune showing amenities without losing oversight
- the interface stays very clean which is important for mapping applications.
a rare #foss gem

Trigger was a 'Infinity inquirer' (?) series of calls on "investment advice survey" which would only stop after i took a survey (so they said. Obviously, I didn't take the survery)
