waiting for compilation --> toot frequency goes up

In the past I used gnu.org/software/anubis for all my outgoing mail

It made using a gazillion different email-clients a lot easier having mostly the same config. I don't recall exactly why I stopped using it, but I miss it sometimes.

Switching my site to WriteFreely

I have been using WordPress ever since I decided to have a personal website/blog. It has served me well but I've come to a point where I got tired of messing with plugin conflicts, and spammers. I also like Markdown a lot and the available plugins for WordPress were either broken or had conflicts with other plugins. So I decided to try something simpler. At first I had my mind on static generators but then I came across WriteFreely, a minimalistic, distributed and customizable blogging software. It supports Markdown and HTML and that's all I need right now. On the minus side, it does not support media uploads but we will show a workaround to that, on this guide.

I've started working on some policy notes for qua.name to try to contain the marketing and link spam posts.

qua.name/info/qua-policy-notes

I get lots of bogus account registrations on the qua.name instance.

poker stuff and random links to businesses etc.

bit sad though, because there are no winners in that game, just wasted time and resources.

Does there exist a date picker bot?

I expected a while set to choose from , but can't seem to find one.
Seems a fairly common usecase

@mdbraber Can I request an update for mastodon.nl to its latest release? There's quite a few fixes and nice changes since v3.0.1

first selection criterium on chosing a bank today: does their app work on rooted phone without google services?

I'm on my third bank app now, the last one functioned till a week ago with help of , but stopped working today.

customer service didn't care much (they did suggest removing root and installing google services though)

It's finally here, teasing is over:

I'm excited to launch #keyoxide today!

yarmo.eu/post/keyoxide

#FOSS solution for easy encryption, signature verification and decentralized identity proofs!

I've been in favor of #DeleteKeybase but I never had something to offer as an alternative. Now I do :)

The app is truly a joy to use.

Quality of the app is top notch. Especially the interface design is worth a look.

Examples:
- every ui element gets introduced on first use
- good use of tap and tap-and-hold (roughly: toggle vs configure)
- a very interesting widget design to fine-tune showing amenities without losing oversight
- the interface stays very clean which is important for mapping applications.

a rare gem

It's been a while, but I'm letting spam callers again listen to the screaming monkeys.

Trigger was a 'Infinity inquirer' (?) series of calls on "investment advice survey" which would only stop after i took a survey (so they said. Obviously, I didn't take the survery)

Turns out that the default 10k api v3 units is ridiculously low. (this used to be 1M units!)
