Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>I&#39;ve been saying this for years: ebikes should have USB-C PD ports for charging! </p><p>Finally a manufacturer has actually done it. In this case using 140W power delivery, which is way higher power than any ebike charger I&#39;ve ever used. Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>So no, I don&#39;t like Tesla, and I don&#39;t think Europeans should be buying Tesla vehicles for a variety of reasons.</p><p>Many of those aren&#39;t the reasons why Europeans are currently protesting Tesla, but I&#39;m still happy they&#39;re doing it!</p>
Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>And while we&#39;re on the subject, I have always hated the way Tesla has marketed their cars with respect to climate change.</p><p>They&#39;re not marketing them as &quot;let&#39;s all work together to solve climate change&quot; it&#39;s &quot;the world is fucked you&#39;d better buy our bulletproof car with a biohazard mode.&quot;</p>
Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>And when it comes to climate change, when cars and trucks are needed they need to be electric, but the ultimate solution will require fewer cars, not different cars.</p><p>We can&#39;t solve climate change and still have everyone driving. Besides having oversized engines that encourage people to speed, they&#39;re also very heavy compared to most EU electric cars.</p><p>Tesla doesn&#39;t care about road safety either. Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>Obviously if somebody has to drive a car into the city, then electric is better than gas, but at the same time, almost any other electric car (especially EU-made) is better than a Tesla!</p><p>If I said &quot;American cars don&#39;t belong in Dutch cities&quot; everybody would agree, but &quot;Tesla cars don&#39;t belong in Dutch cities&quot; is equally true.</p><p>We have lots of other electric cars to choose from in Europe these days, including microcars, which are much better for European city streets.</p>
Not Just Bikes 🇳🇱<p>First of all, why would I be in favour of a car company, never mind an American car company?</p><p>Telsa makes expensive luxury cars, primarily for the US market. They&#39;re big and overpowered. They&#39;re dangerous (to others) and encourage people to speed.</p><p>And they&#39;re WIDE! Tesla cars are about 15 to 25 cm wider than a typical EU car, which means I can never pass them on a bike on the narrow Amsterdam streets.</p>

What channel are these people watching?</p>
