The complete opposite is the case. Unions are an institution to guarantee workers laws.
Yes, that's my opinion too. In the Netherlands farmacy employees wages go up by 20% in the next 2 years due to union action and negotiation with employees.

Good to know, that they are even strong in the Netherlands. I can't rate the 20% which ate humungous. Does it mean it was such underrated before or to componse higher rents and food costs (inflation)?

In the US unbelievable, Germans get paid when they are ill and recover at home, even while Musks CEO legions tries to block EU law.

@european @corruptian the 20% is an increase because of the lower salary compared to that the pharmacy employees should have. It is a complex matter of an agreement with the Government and non payment of insurance companies. Also there are sectoral diverences in pharmacy wages.
