@elshid @ericschutte @museum Most likely that was the original design of the sign. Some survivors claimed that it was done as a sign of resistance, but it was far more likely accidental.
@elshid @auschwitzmuseum @museum Hello Mirko, you can find a lot about the B on the internet. As far as I know the prisoners deliberatly put the B upside down in the gate. Looking at the complete text I can hardly believe it was an accident.
