I try to portray the life of a character, and life is inherently more random and batshit crazy than would fit inside classic story structures.

Conscious beings can simultaneously be happy and sad; story structures often oversimplify such things.

Sometimes, real life randomness and deus ex machina happens (happened several times in my family, I kid you not) so I'm just here going like "screw the norm!!"

I often wonder how many people are disappointed with their lives because they don't fit a story structure.
