@HeliaXyana and yet from the wizard of oz came wicked. a much more fitting tail. because good and evil aren't all they're cracked up to be. there's shades of gray. so squee wicked. read the book, saw the musical twice. want to see the first movie.
@HeliaXyana ah yes, the white = good and black = evil trope has an awful lot to answer for, and needs to get in the bin.
Similarly with so-called ugliness or deformity always being equated with evil, it truly is a trope that has long since had its time and is also incredibly harmful.
