On zephyrs breathe, cast away distress,
World's weight seep down to toe's express.
From skin's flesh, heaviness recede,
In breath's sweet rhythm, serenity proceed.
Chilled bones thaw, in air's gentle dalliance,
Each lung's intake, anxiety’s defiance.
Mind untangles with each wind's affair,
As gusts dance softly through laid strands of hair.
@HeliaXyana you know, I totally forgot what day it is today! Thanks for writing something witchy and poetic and wonderful!
Thanks. I honestly had to check 3 times to be sure that it is, in fact, Wednesday today. It didn't feel very Wednesday today.
@HeliaXyana I've been a day ahead of time all week and am frankly peeved that it isn't Friday yet.
I'm so with you on that. You know what, I'm not buying it. Someone stuffed an extra day into our week.
* Shouts up to the clouds.
Hey trickster gods, I now demand an extra day of weekend!
