#fedicoven Q19 How do you celebrate the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox? (Imbolc)
I light a candle and move it through my home with the sun, sort and clean my seeds, and do a bit of plant care. I plant some herbs inside and make blueberry lavender cupcakes.
Some meditation also feels right. If at all possible in my garden regardless of the temperature. Today was a good, clear day for that.
Food, Imbolc
I usually celebrate on the 2nd of Feb by planting some seeds and sometimes bulbs and lighting some candles and meditating in the garden, as well as a little feast. I'm making some lemon posset for dessert and some oatcakes with candied salmon and goat cheese this year.

Oh, that sounds excellent. Always seems like a good time for cheese to me.
Food, Imbolc
Yeah, at some point over the years it's become my holiday of cheese and nuts.
Food, Imbolc
I get that. For me, it's cheese and jam. Usually, the last of the blackberry jam from last season.

For me it all depends on where it falls and the weather at the time!
This year I will be gently cleaning my apartment and creating an altar for Brighde at Imbolc, suitably white with Brighde Crosses, and if the weather and my hips allow, going for a walk around the local lakes.
