No pressure to answer if it's too personal, but have you ever created art that is an actual spell?
In a way, yes. I incorporate sigils and make some work with a certain intension. This one was to help Hekate reach out to those who are looking for her guidance.

@HeliaXyana this is so cool.
@HeliaXyana As something of a follow-on to the question from @youseeatortoise, I had suspected you embedded spellwork in your art, and I *know* firsthand you put it into your writing. Have you ever had any spells go awry because, for example, your words were heard but the fact that the intentions behind them were supposed to have been attributed to a specific character or subject did not quite make the translation?

Hey Kurt! That's a very insightful question, thanks.
Honestly, the spell work in Ethereal can be used if they align with the caster's intension, and they use the words as a conduit.
This has triggered lucid dreams in one of my beta readers who has no notion of witchcraft but found some words she didn't know she was missing. Which is a short spell addition Cedric did in book 12 to peek into the Rascal's dreams.
@HeliaXyana @KurtHohmann and now I'm even more impressed.
I try to incorporate sigils into the graphic elements of my work, but I'm not myself a practitioner so I have to rely on other people who know what they're doing.
Please be aware that sigils are often seen as intellectual property, even when they're basic. As with everything, make sure you look into its origin. Which will also motivate you to check if your intention aligns with it.
@HeliaXyana @KurtHohmann Oh, for sure. I wouldn't use any image that I didn't know was appropriate for use. I mean I get friends to design sigils for me.
